Calgary, AB – Scott Towns scored a hat-trick to help support the Flying Elbows in a 7-5 victory over the Night Knights at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Tyler Young and Brett Zarazun, Kyle Christensen and Shaun Kos each with single strikes. Tim Fournier added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Night Knights was Daniel Rybarik and Cayd Greiner with a pair of goals each and Nate Belanger with a single tally. Dayne Greiner added two assists. Goaltender Derek Janzen surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Night Knights.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 19-2-1-0 while the Night Knights fall to 11-11-1-0.
