Calgary, AB – Dave Watt scored his seventh goal of the season with 9:58 remaining in the third period and Will Gretton scored two goals and added an assist as the Kings extended their winning streak to six games with a 7-6 victory over the Grasshoppers at Southland on Monday.

Adding markers for the Kings was Gord Matheson, Brian Ceelen and Dustin Yeager each with single strikes. Charles Abbott added three assists and Matheson added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm picked up the victory for the Kings giving up six goals.

Scoring for the Grasshoppers was Tony Yang with two goals and Franco Colapaolo, James Dunphy, Chris Hawley and Sebastian Gregoire with a goal each. Yang, Colapaolo and Dunphy each added two assists. Goaltender Nathan Steinke surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Grasshoppers.

With the victory, the Kings improve to 11-7-2-0 while the Grasshoppers fall to 6-9-5-0.
