Calgary, AB – Nick Derhun scored two goals to fuel the 3rd Liners to an 8-5 triumph over the Ducks at Village Square on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the 3rd Liners was Austen Rajpal with two goals and Michael Assheton-Smith, Michael McCoy, Will Murray and DELETE DELETE chipping in with a goal each. Assheton-Smith added two assists. Goaltender Kenneth Clement picked up the win for the 3rd Liners giving up five goals.

The win snapped the 3rd Liners' nine-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Ducks was Adam Klein with a hat-trick and Dan Arnold and Mathew Lafrance each tallying single markers. Hassan Baddour added two assists. Goaltender Nick Rawlings surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Ducks.

With the win, the 3rd Liners improve to 3-12-1-0 while the Ducks fall to 5-11-0-0.
