Calgary, AB – Curtis Butcher scored two goals for the Panthers and Mike Parker scored a goal and added an assist for the Flying Elbows as the teams played to a 5-5 tie at Southland on Monday.

Completing the scoring for for the Flying Elbows was Tim Fournier, Tyson Woynarski, Brent Laloge and Dylan Kempin chipping in with a goal each. Scott Towns added three assists. Goaltender Gilles Berube surrendered five goals in the tie for the Flying Elbows.

Completing the scoring for for the Panthers was Vince Niro, Matt Buchholz and Ken Kornylo chipping in with singles. Mike Tucker added two assists. Goaltender Adam Hart gave up five goals in the tie for the Panthers.

After the tie, the Panthers have a record of 6-7-2-0 while the Flying Elbows move to 14-0-1-0.
