Calgary, AB – Trevor Chown scored two goals and added an assist to help secure the Tailgaters erased a three-goal deficit and a victory in an 8-6 victory over the Ice Goats at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Tailgaters was Logan Harris and Michael Bezooyen with a pair of goals each, Stu Merrett and Andrew Keats each contributing with single markers. Merrett, Matt Jobin, Craig Rollison and Boyd Crockett each added two assists. Goaltender Reece Kestner picked up the victory for the Tailgaters giving up six goals.

Providing the offence for the Ice Goats was Brady Coady with two goals and Delete Delete, Aaron Kosinsky, Tim Robinson and Delete Delete with a goal each. Cole Brewis added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

The Ice Goats jumped out to a 4-1 lead when Robinson scored his 10th of the season with 7:15 left in the first period but Harris responded for the Tailgaters with his eighth of the season to start the rally.

With the victory, the Tailgaters improve to 2-8-4-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 3-9-2-0.
