Calgary, AB – Scott Towns scored four goals as the Flying Elbows extended its winning streak to 14 games with a 11-1 thrashing over The Lanny's at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Flying Elbows was Steve Tuckey and Kyle Christensen with a pair of goals each and Eric Nerbas, Luke Helland and Dylan Kempin each tallying single markers. Tuckey added five assists, Colin Oke added three assists, Jason Oke, Tyson Woynarski and Cole Hood each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows holding The Lanny's to a single goal.

Tallying the single marker for The Lanny's was and Ryan Earle, his 11th of the season. Goaltender Sam Haines surrendered 11 goals in the loss for The Lanny's.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 14-0-0-0 while The Lanny's fall to 2-12-0-0.
