Calgary, AB – Jake Mandin pitched a shutout and Justin Peers scored four goals and added an assist to help secure the Blazers a victory in a 12-0 trouncing over the Golden Horses at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Blazers was Adam Brandt and Stephen Lyons with a pair of goals each and Josh Clements, Andrew Schubert, Travis Rohl and Zach Goss each contributing with single markers. Schubert, Clements, Josh Goudie, Marc Basterash, Aaron Brandon and Quinn Logan each added two assists.

Goaltender Sherman ??? surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Golden Horses.

With the victory, the Blazers improve to 8-4-1-0 while the Golden Horses fall to 1-12-0-0.
