Calgary, AB – Aaron Cowley* scored two goals and added an assist to help bring the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 10-6 route over the Chevron at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Lane Tamagi* and Paul Taylor* with a pair of goals each, Trevor Hunt*, Andy Keats*, John Doyle* and Preston Yachimec* chipping in with singles. Jeff Snyder* added four assists, Hunt* and Martin Carter* each added two assists. Goaltender Mark Flath* picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up 0 goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Chevron was Jason Graham* with a hat-trick, Jarrod Beztilny* with two goals and Andy Ketchin* with a single marker. Graham*, Beztilny*, Mike Prins* and Ken Jaszan* each added two assists. Goaltender Darrell Gall* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Chevron.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Chevron fall to 2-1-0-0.
