Calgary, AB – Tyler Witzke scored two goals and added an assist to help The Herd to a 13-1 spanking over the Bisons at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for The Herd was Nolan Steer and Gavin Lawrie and Ethan Trampuh with a pair of goals each, Levi Young, Sam Rousseau, Nic Jordan, Devyn Stewart and Brian Sinnicks with a goal each. Dylan Defosse added three assists, Young, Daniel Lindeman, Evan Loura and Riley Milford each added two assists. Goaltender Devin Reagan picked up the win for The Herd holding the Bisons to a single goal.

Scoring the lone goal for the Bisons was and Matt Comeau, his first of the season. Goaltender Joel Richardson surrendered 13 goals in the loss for the Bisons.

With the win, The Herd improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Bisons fall to 0-1-0-0.
