Calgary, AB – TJ Smith scored four goals and added an assist to help bring the Buffaloes to a 6-4 triumph over the Bisons at Frank McCool on Friday.

Completing the scoring for for the Buffaloes was Everett Nemeth with two goals . Nemeth added two assists. Goaltender Jon Kalkman picked up the victory for the Buffaloes giving up four goals.

The victory extinguished the Buffaloes' five-game losing streak.

Finding the back of the net for the Bisons was Andy Coates with two goals and John Pham and Byron Simms chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Nick Rawlhys surrendered six goals in the loss for the Bisons.

With the victory, the Buffaloes improve to 3-9-1-0 while the Bisons fall to 1-12-0-0.
