Calgary, AB – Trevor Chown scored two goals for the Tailgaters and Joel Manson scored two goals and added three assists for the Smokin' Guns as the teams played to a 6-6 tie at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Kyle Thompson, Dan Canfield and Wade Forshner contributing with a goal each. Thompson added two assists. Goaltender David Wandler surrendered six goals in the tie for the Smokin' Guns.

Capping off the scoring for the Tailgaters was Stu Merrett, Andrew Keats and Michael Bezooyen each tallying single markers. Keats, Mark Rollo and Alex Chow each added two assists. Goaltender Todd Bettison gave up six goals in the tie for the Tailgaters.

After the tie, the Tailgaters have a record of 1-6-4-0 while the Smokin' Guns move to 7-3-1-0.
