Calgary, AB – MIke Klassen* scored two goals and added two assists to help fuel the Icemen to a 9-6 win over the Fat n Lazy at Ernie Starr on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Icemen was Chuck Peffers* with two goals and Chad Coyes*, Kevin Kemp*, Darcy Hrycauk*, Gord MacLean* and Darcy Frey* with a goal each. Coyes* added three assists, Klassen* and Kemp* each added two assists. Goaltender Travis Copp* picked up the win for the Icemen giving up 0 goals.

Striking for the Fat n Lazy was Kirk Wilson* with a hat-trick and Brad Vescarelli*, Ron Francis* and Leigham Robichaud* chipping in with a goal each. Terry Hughes added three assists. Goaltender Grant Dreger* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Fat n Lazy.

With the win, the Icemen improve to 2-0-1-0 while the Fat n Lazy fall to 2-1-0-0.
