Calgary, AB – Kyle Thompson scored a hat-trick and added two assists to lift the Smokin' Guns to an 8-4 clobbering over the Ice Goats at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Smokin' Guns was Joel Manson with two goals, Mike Podwalski and Jeremy Broughton and Khi Mattu each tallying single markers. Thompson, Podwalski and Laurent Truong each added two assists. Goaltender James McGivern picked up the win for the Smokin' Guns giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Ice Goats was Shaun Hunter, Tim Robinson, Zachary Duncan and Delete Delete contributing with a goal each. Hunter added three assists and Myles Genyk added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the win, the Smokin' Guns improve to 6-2-0-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 1-6-1-0.
