Calgary, AB – Greg Kardynal (*) scored four goals and added two assists to lead the Chiefs to a 14-2 whipping over the Blades at Ernie Starr on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Chiefs was Adam Pattison (*) with a hat-trick, Bill Sowa (*) and Paul Sutcliffe (*) with a pair of goals each and Terry Wilson (*), Kirk Stack and Chris Budra (*) chipping in with a goal each. Sowa (*) and Wilson (*) each added four assists, Pattison (*), Stack, Tom Smith (*), Warren Brown (*). Goaltender Blaine MacKeil (*) picked up the victory for the Chiefs giving up 0 goals.

Finding the twine for the Blades was Colin Dyck* and Doug Vass* chipping in with singles. Goaltender Graeme Rowe* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Blades.

With the victory, the Chiefs improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Blades fall to 0-1-0-0.
