Calgary, AB – Braden Billaney scored five goals and added two assists to help secure the Icemen a victory in a 12-7 trouncing over the Buffaloes at Optimist on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Icemen was Evan Michalchuk with two goals, Jordan Cullum and Steve Price and Jordan Thomson each contributing with single markers. Cullum added four assists, Michalchuk added three assists, Rob Rishaug. Goaltender Mike Persson picked up the victory for the Icemen giving up seven goals.

Providing the offence for the Buffaloes was Jeff Lailey with two goals and Everett Nemeth, TJ Smith, John Page, Victor Bakala and Robyn Carson with a goal each. Lailey, Smith, Nemeth, Page and Dylan Ackerman each added two assists. Goaltender Jon Kalkman surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Buffaloes.

With the victory, the Icemen improve to 4-0-1-0 while the Buffaloes fall to 2-3-0-0.
