Calgary, AB – Tyler Kushniruk scored his first goal of the playoffs with 6:12 remaining in the second period and Taylor Fleming scored a hat-trick to lift the Calgary Hogs to a 5-4 conquest over the Da Byes at Frank McCool on Wednesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Andrew Figueira with a single marker. Kyle O'Reilly added three assists and Blake Blondeel added two assists. Goaltender Kyle MacDonald picked up the win for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Da Byes was Doug Jones, Dylon Malecki, Reed Murray and Brady Anderson each tallying single markers. Jones and Connor Chartier each added two assists. Goaltender Wyatt Hoflin surrendered five goals in the loss for the Da Byes.

With the win, the Calgary Hogs improve to 2-1-0-0 while the Da Byes fall to 1-2-0-0.
