Calgary, AB – Scott Lindsay scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Icehogs extended its winning streak to seven games with a 8-3 trouncing over the Mustangs at George Blundun on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Icehogs was Kevin Free and Mike Tanton, Blaine Dobinson, Steve Stowe and Blake Knox with a goal each. Free added four assists, Tanton added three assists and Lindsay added two assists. Goaltender Jody Stevens picked up the victory for the Icehogs giving up three goals.

Providing the offence for the Mustangs was Garrett Goodbrand, Dave Ford and Darryl MacDonald each contributing with single markers. Goaltender Duane Arsenault surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the Icehogs improve to 7-0-1-0 while the Mustangs fall to 5-2-1-0.
