Vine nets hat-trick, Blackout pump Mile High Club
Calgary, AB – Jordan Vine scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help the Blackout to an 11-7 spanking over the Mile High Club at Flames Community Arenas on Saturday.
Rounding out the scoring for the Blackout was Jordan Simard, Matt Brosh and Michael Tamaki with a pair of goals each, Devin Ness and Mark Miller each adding a goal. Simard added five assists, Reid Larson added four assists, Brosh added three assists, Ness. Goaltender Chase Simard picked up the win for the Blackout giving up seven goals.
Striking for the Mile High Club was Kyle Matthyssen and Tyler Bull with a pair of goals each, Aaron Mc, AJ Shore and Justin Bell with a goal each. Mc, Gavin Stephen and Robert Freel each added two assists. Goaltender Kevin Barron surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Mile High Club.
With the win, the Blackout improve to 14-6-3-0 while the Mile High Club fall to 14-11-1-0.
