Calgary, AB – Steve Atkinson* scored a goal and added two assists to help fuel the Pirates to an 8-1 pounding over the Old Time Flyers at Ernie Starr on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Pirates was Darryl Lewis*, Scott Atkinson*, K Failbairn, Josh Mooney*, Tyler Worden*, Roger Miller*, Scott McDonald* chipping in with a goal each. Mike Davis*. Goaltender Rick Windl* picked up the win for the Pirates holding the Old Time Flyers to a single goal.

Scoring the lone goal for the Old Time Flyers was and Peter Huff*, his first of the season. Goaltender Alan Montain* surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the Old Time Flyers.

With the win, the Pirates improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Old Time Flyers fall to 0-1-0-0.
