Calgary, AB – Scott Towns scored a hat-trick and added an assist as the Flying Elbows extended their winning streak to five games with a 7-5 victory over the Ice Goats at Optimist on Saturday.

Adding markers for the Flying Elbows was Steve Tuckey with two goals, Dylan Kempin and Kyle Christensen each adding single goals. Jason Oke and Tyrel Christensen each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Ellis picked up the victory for the Flying Elbows giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Ice Goats was Joel Manson with a hat-trick and Tim Robinson and Craig Spencer each with single strikes. Scott Larocque added three assists and Robinson added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the victory, the Flying Elbows improve to 20-1-0-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 5-15-0-0.
