Calgary, AB – Brady Broderson scored a hat-trick including his 11th goal of the season with 2:12 remaining in the second period and and added an assist to lead the Sofa Kings to a 7-6 triumph over the Ringers at George Blundun on Saturday.

Completing the scoring for for the Sofa Kings was Ryan Richards and Brian Ceelen, Richard Smythe and Charles Abbott chipping in with singles. Ceelen and Richards each added three assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up six goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Ringers was Justen James with a hat-trick and Connor Barron, Connor Raedeke and Henry Adams chipping in with a goal each. Brandon Shaw added three assists, Matt Riviore and Lukas Beaucage each added two assists. Goaltender Josh Triggs surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Ringers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 18-8-2-0 while the Ringers fall to 8-16-3-0.
