Calgary, AB – Ryan Richards scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help the Sofa Kings to an 8-3 spanking over the Ringers at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Sofa Kings was Regan Yeager with two goals, Trevor Burke and Brady Broderson and Adam McLean with a goal each. Burke added four assists, Lyle Armitage and Rory Dawson each added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm picked up the win for the Sofa Kings giving up three goals.

Striking for the Ringers was Matthew Ryan with two goals and Dryden Sollman with a single marker. Justen James added two assists. Goaltender Josh Triggs surrendered eight goals in the loss for the Ringers.

With the win, the Sofa Kings improve to 12-6-1-0 while the Ringers fall to 5-13-1-0.
