Calgary, AB – Carson Packer scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help fuel the Grasshoppers to a 7-4 win over the Wolf Pack at Optimist on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Grasshoppers was Lance Davidson and Duane Smith, Reid Marshall and Andy Walsh chipping in with a goal each. Kirk Hildebrandt and Colin Hughes each added two assists. Goaltender Calvin Giese picked up the win for the Grasshoppers giving up four goals.

Striking for the Wolf Pack was Matt Price, Brian Stasiak, Travis Skladan and Tyler Storozuk with a goal each. Price added two assists. Goaltender Taylor Shellenberg surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Wolf Pack.

With the win, the Grasshoppers improve to 12-6-1-0 while the Wolf Pack fall to 8-9-1-0.
