Calgary, AB – Blake Orban scored two goals and added three assists as the Red Army extended their winning streak to four games with a 9-7 win over the Calgary Hogs at Southland on Thursday.

Also scoring for the Red Army was Matt Buchholz and Joe Serpico with a pair of goals each, Geoff Crisfield, Luke Madill and Colin Bergman with a goal each. Tyler Boldt added four assists, Orban and Crisfield each added three assists, Buchholz and Madill each added two assists. Goaltender Doug Lavors picked up the win for the Red Army giving up seven goals.

Striking for the Calgary Hogs was Blake Blondeel with two goals and Wade Hein, Bryce Schneider, Andrew Figueira and Brandan Kushniruk each adding a goal. Tyler Kushniruk added four assists and Taylor Fleming added two assists. Goaltender Kyle MacDonald surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Calgary Hogs.

With the win, the Red Army improve to 4-0-0-0 while the Calgary Hogs fall to 0-3-0-0.
