Calgary, AB – James Barnes scored two goals to help support the Colts in a 5-3 victory over the Mustangs at Village Square on Wednesday.

Adding markers for the Colts was Laurent Truong and Nick Larkin and Stephen Sills each with single strikes. Jacob Bieber added two assists. Goaltender Jason Crossland picked up the victory for the Colts giving up three goals.

Scoring for the Mustangs was Aaron Merkosky, Denis Blaquiere and Dustin Greenwald with a goal each. Goaltender JF Voyer surrendered five goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

With the victory, the Colts improve to 1-1-0-0 while the Mustangs fall to 0-4-0-0.
