Calgary, AB – Michael Tamaki scored his first goal of the season with 2:15 remaining in the third period and Devin Ness scored two goals to help secure the Blackout a victory in a 5-4 victory over the IceCats at Norma Bush on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Blackout was Todd Ness and Jordan Vine each contributing with single markers. Ness added three assists and Vine added two assists. Goaltender Devin Hardy picked up the victory for the Blackout giving up four goals.

Providing the offence for the IceCats was Rob Churcher, Jeff Frederick, Jason Nugent and Harley Cummer with a goal each. Goaltender Darryl Leray surrendered five goals in the loss for the IceCats.

With the victory, the Blackout improve to 1-1-1-0 while the IceCats fall to 1-2-0-0.
