Calgary, AB – Reggie Lang scored a hat-trick and added an assist to help the IceCats to an 11-8 win over the Tailgaters at Village Square on Saturday.

Also scoring for the IceCats was Kyle Myden, Jeff Frederick and Dan Tall with a pair of goals each, Daniel Howland and Rob Churcher each adding a goal. Myden, Frederick, Howland, Doug Howland and Kelly Stoodley each added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray picked up the win for the IceCats giving up eight goals.

Lighting the lamp for the Tailgaters was Stu Merrett with a hat-trick, Joel Purdy with two goals and Trevor Chown, Logan Harris and Matt Jobin with a goal each. Chown added two assists. Goaltender Reese Kestner surrendered 11 goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the win, the IceCats improve to 2-3-0-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 1-5-0-0.
