Calgary, AB – Michael Ward scored two goals and added two assists to help the Schooners to a 7-2 spanking over the Midnight Express at George Blundun on Saturday.

Also scoring for the Schooners was Chris Atkinson and Cody Nunweiler, Eric Stitt, Jacob Nottebrock and Travis Robichaud with a goal each. Ward, Stitt, Atkinson, Nunweiler, Tom Durnie and Bryon Campbell each added two assists. Goaltender Jason Poulin picked up the win for the Schooners giving up two goals.

The scoring contribution for the Midnight Express was Andrew Dutton with two goals. Patrick Dutton added two assists. Goaltender Todd Ashton surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Midnight Express.

With the win, the Schooners improve to 6-1-2-0 while the Midnight Express fall to 5-2-2-0.
