Calgary, AB – Jeremy Kostiuk scored his second goal of the season with 6:53 remaining in the third period and Curtis Ceccanese scored two goals as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended their winning streak to five games with a 6-5 triumph over the Ice Goats at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Capping off the scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Matt Clenchy, Andrew Keats, Alex Chow each tallying single markers. Brandon Fong and Pat Goodwin each added two assists. Goaltender Ethan Allary picked up the win for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up five goals.

Finding the twine for the Ice Goats was Zachary Duncan and Brady Coady with a pair of goals each and Steve Barker with a single marker. Tim Robinson and Joel Manson each added two assists. Goaltender Sean Beauparlant surrendered six goals in the loss for the Ice Goats.

With the win, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 6-0-1-0 while the Ice Goats fall to 1-6-0-0.
