Calgary, AB – Curtis Ceccanese scored four goals and added two assists to help bring the Hopewell Hurricanes to a 10-5 route over the IceCats at Father David Bauer on Tuesday.

Completing the scoring for for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Kehl Snyder and Brandon Fong, Jason Manderson, Pat Goodwin and Jeremy Kostiuk chipping in with singles. Ceccanese, Manderson, Goodwin, Snyder, Fong and Alex Chow each added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up five goals.

Finding the back of the net for the IceCats was Harley Cummer with two goals and Dan Fuller, Ben Wheeler and Jason Nugent each contributing with single markers. Fuller added two assists. Goaltender Darryl Leray surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the IceCats.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 1-0-0-0 while the IceCats fall to 0-1-0-0.
