Calgary, AB – Mason Mazur scored two goals and added an assist to lift the Golden Horses to a 5-3 conquest over the Midnight Express at Norma Bush on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Golden Horses was Ryan Mahony and Dayne Demarsh and Travis Hodges each tallying single markers. Demarsh and Mahony each added two assists. Goaltender Bryce Shegelski picked up the win for the Golden Horses giving up three goals.

The victory extinguished the Golden Horses' three-game losing streak.

Sniping for the Midnight Express was Chris Mele, Patrick Dutton and Mark Mysliwy contributing with a goal each. Andrew Dutton added two assists. Goaltender Todd Ashton surrendered five goals in the loss for the Midnight Express.

With the win, the Golden Horses improve to 1-5-1-0 while the Midnight Express fall to 4-1-2-0.
