Calgary, AB – Marcus Hoover scored two goals and added an assist as the Raymond James Raiders extended its winning streak to three games with a 6-1 thrashing over the Samsquantches at Southland on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Raymond James Raiders was Connor Mackinnon and Byron Thompson, Chris Ban and Jakob Lapointe each tallying single markers. Mackinnon, Thompson and Ban each added two assists. Goaltender Jeremy Phillips picked up the win for the Raymond James Raiders holding the Samsquantches to a single goal.

Tallying the lone goal for the Samsquantches was and Dalyn Flette, his second of the season. Goaltender Peter Sombyk surrendered six goals in the loss for the Samsquantches.

With the win, the Raymond James Raiders improve to 3-1-0-0 while the Samsquantches fall to 0-4-0-0.
