Calgary, AB – Kevin Free scored four goals and added an assist to fuel the Calgary Hogs to a 13-4 thrashing over the Warthogs at Optimist on Saturday.

Capping off the scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Tyler Kushniruk, Taylor Fleming and Bryce Scheider with a pair of goals each, Gio Falsetti, Kenton Haugrud and Nathan Higgins chipping in with a goal each. Falsetti added five assists, Kushniruk, Haugrud and Chris Mills each added three assists, Higgins, Ashley Raabis and Kyle Dunn each added two assists. Goaltender Kyle Dunn picked up the win for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Finding the twine for the Warthogs was Dale Kindlein and Matt Thesien with a pair of goals each . Goaltender Tom Burke surrendered 13 goals in the loss for the Warthogs.

With the win, the Calgary Hogs improve to 18-0-6-0 while the Warthogs fall to 8-13-3-0.
