Calgary, AB – Tyler Kushniruk scored a hat-trick including his sixth goal of the season with 9:11 remaining in the third period and to fuel the Calgary Hogs to a 5-4 triumph over the Square Wheels at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Calgary Hogs was Rocky Benz and Kyle O'Reilly each tallying single markers. Gio Falsetti, Bryce Scheider and Andrew Figueira each added two assists. Goaltender Kyle MacDonald picked up the win for the Calgary Hogs giving up four goals.

Sniping for the Square Wheels was Phil Tot with two goals and Matt Loiseau and Jackson Hawton contributing with a goal each. Tyler Gramatovich added three assists and Loiseau added two assists. Goaltender Kelly Mcdonald surrendered five goals in the loss for the Square Wheels.

With the win, the Calgary Hogs improve to 3-0-1-0 while the Square Wheels fall to 0-4-0-0.
