Calgary, AB – Justin Evans scored two goals including his 10th goal of the season with 1:58 remaining in the third period and and added an assist to fuel the Samsquantches to a 9-8 triumph over the Ducks at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for the Samsquantches was Dan Macinnes with two goals and Ryan Coslovich, Mike Graham, Tyler Trilsbeck, John Jose and Peter Sombyk each tallying single markers. Coslovich, Graham, Adam Jose and Sean Griffiths each added two assists. Goaltender Peter Sombyk picked up the victory for the Samsquantches giving up eight goals.

Finding the twine for the Ducks was Zach Runaud and Abdo Hammond with a pair of goals each, Paul Poirier, Breton Gabel, Dan Arnold and Sean Mahoney chipping in with a goal each. Poirier added three assists and Runaud added two assists. Goaltender Justin Johnson surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Ducks.

With the victory, the Samsquantches improve to 14-9-4-0 while the Ducks fall to 10-14-3-0.
