Calgary, AB – Rocky Benz scored two goals and added three assists as the Calgary Hogs extended its winning streak to six games with a 14-1 spanking over the Colts at Optimist on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Calgary Hogs was Kenton Haugrud with a hat-trick, Cody Rowein and Barret Dube and Taylor Fleming with a pair of goals each, Wade Hein, Tyler Kushniruk and Brandan Kushniruk each with single strikes. Hein added five assists, Kushniruk added four assists, Mike Leibel, Gio Falsetti, Rowein, Dube and Kushniruk each added two assists. Goaltender Kyle Dunn picked up the victory for the Calgary Hogs holding the Colts to a single goal.

Scoring the single marker for the Colts was and Zak Fairhall, his fifth of the season. Goaltender Jason Crossland surrendered 14 goals in the loss for the Colts.

With the victory, the Calgary Hogs improve to 13-0-4-0 while the Colts fall to 5-10-3-0.
