Calgary, AB – Jordan Simard scored two goals and added an assist as the Blackout extended their winning streak to four games with a 5-3 triumph over the IceCats at Southland on Monday.

Completing the scoring for for the Blackout was Jordan Vine and Todd Ness and Devin Ness chipping in with a goal each. Vine added three assists. Goaltender Chase Simard picked up the victory for the Blackout giving up three goals.

Finding the twine for the IceCats was Doug Howland, Corey Dahl and Andre Landry each tallying single markers. Goaltender Darryl Leray surrendered five goals in the loss for the IceCats.

With the victory, the Blackout improve to 9-4-2-0 while the IceCats fall to 5-6-3-0.
