Calgary, AB – Kevin Mikkelsen scored four goals and added two assists to lead The Boundary Bears to a 10-6 whipping over the Square Wheels at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Capping off the scoring for The Boundary Bears was Brady Hoetner and Ky Falk with a pair of goals each and Jared Sproule and Andrew Levegue chipping in with a goal each. Doug Jessey added three assists, Hoetner, Gordon Verok. Goaltender Abe Kungel picked up the victory for The Boundary Bears giving up six goals.

The win snapped The Boundary Bears' six-game losing skid.

Finding the twine for the Square Wheels was Phil Tot with four strikes and Corey St. Laurent and Shawn Heany each tallying single markers. Jackson Cornelius and Tyler Gramatovich each added two assists. Goaltender Pete Sombyla surrendered 10 goals in the loss for the Square Wheels.

With the victory, The Boundary Bears improve to 3-8-0-0 while the Square Wheels fall to 1-10-0-0.
