Calgary, AB – JF Voyer scored his first goal of the season with 1:23 remaining in the third period and Jeff Zimmer scored a goal to help secure the Mustangs a victory in a 3-2 triumph over the Knights at Optimist on Sunday.

Completing the scoring for for the Mustangs was Jason Braun with a single marker. Goaltender JF Voyer picked up the victory for the Mustangs giving up two goals.

Finding the back of the net for the Knights was Matthew Cundall and Aidan Penner chipping in with singles. Goaltender Adam Westlake surrendered three goals in the loss for the Knights.

With the victory, the Mustangs improve to 7-4-1-0 while the Knights fall to 0-8-3-0.
