Calgary, AB – Carson Packer scored two goals and added an assist as the Grasshoppers extended its winning streak to six games with a 7-3 throttling over the Warthogs at George Blundun on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Grasshoppers was Sebastian Gregoire and Sean Murray, Elliott Sephton, Franco Colapaolo and Paul Robb each adding single tallies. Kirk Hildebrandt added three assists, Gregoire, Reid Marshall and Lance Davidson each added two assists. Goaltender Calvin Giese picked up the win for the Grasshoppers giving up three goals.

Cashing in for the Warthogs was Ryan Clinck with two goals and Matt Thesien with a single marker. Dale Kindell and Greg Hoffort each added two assists. Goaltender Tom Burke surrendered seven goals in the loss for the Warthogs.

With the win, the Grasshoppers improve to 9-1-1-0 while the Warthogs fall to 3-7-1-0.
