Calgary, AB – Francois Dion scored two goals and added an assist for the Flying Elbows and Jesse Kearley scored four goals and added two assists for the Hopewell Hurricanes as the teams battled to a 7-7 tie at Stew Hendry on Sunday.

Also scoring for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Jason Manderson with two goals and Jackson Kostiuk with a single marker. Manderson added three assists, Quinn Leblanc. Goaltender Ethan Alrey surrendered seven goals in the tie for the Hopewell Hurricanes.

Also scoring for the Flying Elbows was Scott Towns, Werner Gartner, Darren Feist and Tim Fournier each adding single goals. Kyle Christensen added three assists, Gartner and Michael St. Laurent each added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz gave up seven goals in the tie for the Flying Elbows.

After the tie, the Flying Elbows have a record of 5-0-2-0 while the Hopewell Hurricanes move to 4-2-2-0.
