Calgary, AB – Greg Smith scored two goals to help secure the Sofa Kings a victory in a 7-4 victory over the BDR Angers at Ernie Starr on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Sofa Kings was James Kenny with two goals and Patrick Schultz, Darrin Andrews and Rob Johnston each contributing with single markers. Duane Laurendeau added three assists, Schultz and Cory Seaman each added two assists. Goaltender Blair Myers picked up the victory for the Sofa Kings giving up 0 goals.

Providing the offence for the BDR Angers was Bret Kimpton, Jeff Patrick, Dean Fratarcangeli and Wally Fizer with a goal each. Kimpton and Patrick each added two assists. Goaltender Marcello Leonardis surrendered 0 goals in the loss for the BDR Angers.

With the victory, the Sofa Kings improve to 3-2-2-0 while the BDR Angers fall to 2-2-3-0.
