Calgary, AB – Taylor Johnson scored two goals for the Mustangs and Kyle Christensen scored two goals for the Flying Elbows as the teams played to a 4-4 tie at Optimist on Monday.

Capping off the scoring for the Flying Elbows was Francois Dion and Scott Towns contributing with a goal each. Werner Gartner added two assists. Goaltender Allan Manz surrendered four goals in the tie for the Flying Elbows.

Capping off the scoring for the Mustangs was Chris East and Joel Merkosky each tallying single markers. Aaron Merkosky and Brent Phelps each added two assists. Goaltender JF Voyer gave up four goals in the tie for the Mustangs.

After the tie, the Mustangs have a record of 1-0-1-0 while the Flying Elbows move to 1-0-1-0.
