Calgary, AB – Abdo Hammond scored two goals and added an assist to help the Ducks to a 9-4 spanking over the Sofa Kings at Village Square on Saturday.

Rounding out the scoring for the Ducks was Paul Poirier with two goals and Dan Arnold, Breton Gabel, Matt Lafrance, Gino Doyle and Frank Grzenda each adding a goal. Arnold and Greg Pejlc each added three assists, Gabel and Lafrance each added two assists. Goaltender Justin Johnson picked up the win for the Ducks giving up four goals.

Striking for the Sofa Kings was Dustin Yeager with two goals and Gord Matheson and Regan Yeager with a goal each. Matheson added two assists. Goaltender Nico Vandersalm surrendered nine goals in the loss for the Sofa Kings.

With the win, the Ducks improve to 10-13-3-0 while the Sofa Kings fall to 8-16-2-0.
