Calgary, AB – Curtis Ceccanese scored a hat-trick including his 37th goal of the season with 0:07 remaining in the third period and and added an assist as the Hopewell Hurricanes extended their winning streak to six games with a 6-5 victory over the Tailgaters at Frank McCool on Tuesday.

Adding markers for the Hopewell Hurricanes was Matthew Krystofiak and Matt Clenchy and Trevor Ceccanese each with single strikes. Krystofiak added four assists, Andrew Keats added three assists and Lukas Snyder added two assists. Goaltender Steve Tolhurst picked up the victory for the Hopewell Hurricanes giving up five goals.

Scoring for the Tailgaters was Logan Harris, Trevor Chown, Robert Eggen, Craig Rollison and Matt Dawe with a goal each. Harris and Chris Legrow each added two assists. Goaltender James Ong surrendered six goals in the loss for the Tailgaters.

With the victory, the Hopewell Hurricanes improve to 18-3-3-0 while the Tailgaters fall to 6-13-4-0.
